The YYJ airport is the nearest international airport, and it is an approximately 40 minute drive from downtown. The Swartz Bay ferry terminal, which connects to the mainland and Vancouver via the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, is also a 40 minute drive from downtown. There is public transit from both the ferry terminal and airport to downtown Victoria, and several taxi companies that regularly travel between downtown and the airport and ferry terminal. Please refer to the transportation page for more details.
